Kyle Shobe was contracted as the Track Announcer for the 2007 Cheyenne Frontier Days and will be the Track Announcer for the upcoming 2008, 2009 and 2010 Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Kyle worked in conjunction with Justin McKee, Rodeo Announcer, and did an outstanding job coordinating with Justin. His duties as the track announcer included announcing the Grand Entry for each of the nine rodeos, calling the Matched Horse Races on the track and providing announcer support for specialty acts such as the Priefert Texas Thunder, Mike Matt Specialty Acts, and the Fast & Furious Trick Riders. He also assisted Justin in calling some of the other rodeo events.
Kyle connected with our audience and was an asset to our celebration. He is very personable and worked well with Cheyenne Frontier Days Volunteers as well as the Headquarters Office Staff. He has a very pleasant, easy going personality and we are pleased that he has agreed to participate in the next three Cheyenne Frontier Days celebrations. Cheyenne Frontier Days is pleased to recommend Kyle as a Track Announcer.

Kyle,
I just wanted to tell you what a pleasure it was to work with you at Cheyenne this year. Your ability to take on one of the toughest announcing jobs in the business and shine was very impressive. They threw a lot at you right off the bat for your first year but you handled everything like you had been there forever.Your first impression was positive too.
I knew withing 15-seconds of meeting that you were a first rate gentleman and working with you was gonna be great. Turns out that my first impression was right on the money, you're a real pro and it seems that everyone on the Cheyenne Frontier Days committee thought the same.
